As exhibited by their behavior both at the con and across social media, it is quite clear that Jayda and Luis Diaz have no regard for the safety of hotel staff, guests, con staff, volunteers, attendees, or anyone else associated with ConCarolinas.

I am deeply saddened that this step needs to be taken. I love Jada and would not see her hurt, but I also love the con. It would be better if Jada would share the decision-making with others (besides her husband), but if she won't allow others in, then the con becomes a one-person show. The last couple of years have yielded disappointing guests and haphazardly run programming.

Too much drama for a con that's supposed to be about having fun. Also, I thought it was supposed to be a con by the fans for the fans. It seems like a dictator has manipulated all the power so no one else on staff has any influence. That's not the way a non-profit con should run.

I'm incredibly saddened over what has happened with ConCarolinas. It was my home con, and it's tragic to see the directions it's going.

I hate seeing this long-standing celebration of creativity and fandom ruined by personality clashes and mismanagement

It's not just who was invited, but how it was mishandled, and how the previously loyal fan base was treated when any objections were raised that disappoints me the most.

I have been friends with Jada and Luis, but don't want the con to disappear because of bad decisions and worse, politicised decisions

I support the con's decision to invite anyone they chose. I do not support the political maneuvering and poor business decisions of the ConChair and her husband.
