also the teachers are putting way too much focus into iReady so we cant do work we have to catch up on. isnt that the whole purpose of advisory?

I-ready should just be for people who actually need it. People who get a high enough score on the diagnostic or the STAAR test should not have to do it.

Advisory is my only time to get work done outside of class. With I-ready I no longer have time to do the assignments and are falling behind. The concept of a learning app that helps us grow smarter is a great one. But I-ready is not that app. It's boring and takes forever to answer questions you already know the answer to. I would be ok with IXL or something like that. But this... It's not the way.
