Removal of Councillor Ahmod Khana (Ward 82)

No intent to assist residence, all he csn do is to escelate from his phne but no boots on the ground.

I reside in Claremont and its so disappointing that the petition is for Claremont Ward 82 community yet I don't agree. Cllr Khana has done so much in such a short space and time and its not recognized. The electricity issue was National Claremont was not the only area affected. Water issue as well. Cllr arranged water tanker . He attended certain issues in the community. Meetings are being held and it gets interrupted. It's a huge ward so that's why he needs support from the community as well. He escalates when your issue are not sorted why must he be held accountable for everything. As an individual you don't want to be bother after a long day's work and don't want your co workers at your house so respect his privacy as well. So be considered as a community. There is so many issue and its been years it could not be sorted so why should he make a difference in such a short space of time and no talk about his assistant and help. Voters voted for him it was a free and fair elections and he won.

Mr Khana does totally nothing concerning the community. I can't seem to understand how he was selected ward councilor for 82 but doesn't even pay much attention to the community nor to the residents living in the community. HE NEEDS TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY!!!

Grasp to understand the content of this petition, and took note there is no name on the petition or and coordinator by name on the petition, or the name of an organisation that somebody can accountable for I live in Claremont since 1995 so more than 20 years and can an community activist most of my life, since the Apartheid days, and still active, however there is frustration around the issue of service delivery especially due to city power and most communities I the greater joburg metro is affected, and in Claremont ward 82 we are affected, however the contents of this petition is questionable the main issue of the outages, to due to overload of illegal connections in the Newlands Claremont areas including Katradapark, and surrounding areas that us according to an official communique from City Power, so that has got nothing to do with the ward Cllr. the MMC, the Mayor, the Premier or even the President, so means the community should account, all the other allegations about crime is the duty of the sub sector CPF, and can tell you the community is busy restructure the Scf, and Claremont, having community meetings all invited, and talk the language of unity, to fight crime, and CPF is the competency of the MEC, province government, Pemier Makhura, as you take as to what say, is not make allegations, rumors, become personal, or any other aspersions, however see the family members of the Cllr. gets attacked the other day when his meeting was disrupted in Claremont his late mother and other family members was abused, now with all due respect we cannot drop so low as an community, see the author of this petition says, they went to the home of the Cllr. to protest or put him under pressure at night, as all know the power of his home was also of so means he is also a victim of these outages, Hear the author say this Cllr. and his friends or clique the way I understand him, now can tell you we all know Khana Amod he has grown in these areas of old Western T
