This is a historical monument and should not be removed. To do so is against state law in Alabama and even if the state law is changed it is an abomination to even consider such. History is written in stone and can not be rewritten no matter who wishes to do so for whatever reason.

Our monument was erected to honor our family members who fought. It is not a racist statue. It is a monument of love.

Removal of the John Hunt Morgan monument is "eracism". It is PC out-of-control. This is part of our cultural heritage. Leave it there!

We must preserve ALL of our history for future generations. This is not racist and should not be treated as such.

History should be displayed and remembered, NOT hidden away somewhere to be forgotten. It is important for furture generations to know how America got here.

Protect our heritage. Keep the monument. Commissioners are expected to serve ALL citizens, not just the 'progressives' who are attempting to destroy an essential part of our country.

This Monument is on County Property. We should indeed this matter is put up for a County Wide Vote among all Taxpaying Citizens of Madison County, Alabama This is not a decision for the City Of Huntsville to make.

The monument belongs to the people of Madison County. They should vote on this issue. It’s in their hands, not the hands of a few people who would do away with it.
