When it comes to child molesters and rapists, prison time cannot be about simply \"serving a debt to society\". We need sexual predators to stay in prison to keep them away from everyone else. The only neighbor of a sex offender should be another sex offender. If we stand together and tell congress it is vital to pass a law in which, upon the FIRST conviction of any kind of sexual assault a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole, imagine how many less tragedies can occur from that particular predator. I am sending this to parents in particular, but this petition is for every concerned member of our society who wishes that horrific crimes like these could, at the very least, take place a great deal less often.
