My letter to President Trump.

31st March 2020.

Dear Mr President Trump, If I may be so bold and consume a moment of your time during your nightmarish schedule fighting this invisible enemy that’s attacking every citizen of this great country, without favor this evil virus is attacking every male and female regardless of their age or even ethnicity, it never discriminates, as well as attacking our economy and the global economy, Mr President you already know these facts and until a vaccine is found we will be at war against it, without doubt once victory is declared our economy will rebound, I’m convinced it will unite all of America after all the talk of national divisions between us.

Mr President this letter is to ask you this, after we defeat this plague (and we will defeat it) my thoughts will be with the brave doctors, nurses, paramedics and hospital staff, not forgetting the porters and unseen staff behind the scenes who give aid these doctors and nurses in our hospitals, ICU’s, testing centers, aid tents as well as the hospital tents being erected in our city’s parks, Mr President some of these brave physicians, nurses and aids will lose their lives gallantly fighting to save the lives of their patients and fellow citizens, In my opinion these are true American hero’s who are just as brave as our military forces, these thousands upon thousands are living angels who need to be recognized for their gallant efforts in this war we’ve found ourselves battling.

Mr President when this war is over I think it would be fitting if we declared a date for a national holiday, a day for Americans to reflect and remember each and every one of these brave medical hero’s now deceased and living.

Mr President that day could be called Camillus Day, he is the patron saint of the sick, hospitals, nurses and physicians, I think it would be very fitting if you could ask Congress to approve a national holiday for this cause, Americans for generation after generations should and need to remember this tragedy of global proportions, Mr President it’s not every day a president gets to declare a day for a national holiday, how fitting would that be for us to have a Camillus Day, a day for each and every one of us to reflect, remember, pray and to thank each and every one of these hero’s, these are American angels America’s medical hero’s, God bless them.
