If you were a child growing up in the early 2000's like me, (being 17) you probably remember the magical escapes that were Newgrounds, Y8, and Addictinggames. If you're like me, you probably go back to those sites every so often to revisit your favorite childhood games. The titles that ruined your innocence, like Ray, Johnny Rocketfingers, and Clear Vision. Games that you could play during the computer classes in elementary and middle school.

And if you're like me, then you're probably sad that kids these days just aren't getting the Flash experience they deserve. They think that sites like Coolmathgames are the best, when really it's just the same game over and over again. Take for example this. The other day I was told to babysit my little cousin. He said he liked to play games online, so I told him to show me a few of his favorites. What he showed me was an endless collection of games that I could've made with a few hours time. Games where your goal was to click buttons and make a sign, or move cars around in a parking lot. When asked to show him a few of my favorites, I pulled up Staggy the Boy Scout Slayer. My cousin simply laughed at first but quickly started complaining about the lack of amazing graphics. I tried explaining that it was gameplay that mattered, but he didn't listen.

So, my proposal is this. I don't know how many of you feel the same, but I would love to see our old childhood favorites brought back to life with a fresh coat of paint. Keep the same games, or even add on to them. But give the kids the games they deserve. Who's with me? I've already contacted the creator of Ray and am waiting for a response. Let me know your favorites down below.
