Hello fellow developers and gamers and Star Wars fans alike, I am a fan of the role-playing video game Franchise,Star Wars:Knights of the Old Republic.This game franchise brought about something new in gaming, something almost unheard of on home consoles. This game is one of the few games that had strategic role-playing, with various side-quests and alignment options, such as light or dark side. Interesting companions with their own story-lines and possible romantic interest. That is what made this game a hit. The first game was awarded 2003 game of the year. This game redefined role-playing forever. Now, many games copy their formula, Interesting characters, mysterious locations, and amazing storytelling. Unfortunately, they are not as good as this game because its a classic that many current generation gamers will miss out on. This is not fair to them. I, myself, am a retro gamer that likes the new games but cant help but get that nostalgic feeling, resulting in me grabbing my old console, blowing the dust of it and hooking it up and playing it hours non-stop. Numerous games are like that, takeGod of Warfor example, that franchise is so successful, they remastered the first 2 and the PSP ones for PS3 and are currently remasteringGod of War 3for PS4. Another one would beHalo: the Master Chief Collection.Games like these, genius happened. Its these games that changed our perspective on what a true game is. KotOR cannot be left forgotten from this list of AAA titles that rediscovered what its like to re-imagine the next generation of the video game industry. Developers, designers, and game companies, i promise, if this franchise were to be revitalized and brought back from the dead, continued with a third game, it will sell, rapidly. We wish and hope with our hearts that you will hear our cry for the rejuvenation of these extravagant games.
