There is zero consideration for the well being of the residents upon which the endless street repairs, scaffold raising and construction work is foiled without any community engagement. Downtown is a residential neighbor and needs to be treated as such - just like Park Slope!

It's so noisy... I can't sleep at night.... Please please, Fidi has more residential buildings more than ever and these construction noises really bother residents in fidi district

This construction is madness! I actually have video clips of them workings after hours which is past 11pm. My children wake up middle of night scared from the noise!

The seemingly endless number of late night variances (past midnight often) have created sleeping problems for our little children. This is not only disturbance issue but also health issue that must be addressed. If the council fails to act on this to balance between important construction works (during normal hours and days) and health of residents, it is a gross negligence.

It's 8:51pm on a Monday night and as I am writing to you from my 32nd floor apartment, I hear tons of construction noise.
