We crave for the original that is not toned down to fit society 'needs'. Show us the truth! <3

I remember the first time I saw this film. I didn't get it at all. I genuinely thought it was shallow and vapid and about girls being sexualised. I had to grow up a little (and admittedly study film) before I realised its about different societies seeing women as different things and how you can use your sexuality to not become a victim, but a hero in your own right. It's kind of a kickass feminist treasure and we shoud all give it the love it deserves.
