Paul W.S. Anderson's initial cut of the 1997 film Event Horizon ran to 130 minutes and was quite graphically violent, so much so that both test audiences and the studio balked at the finished product. Paramount ordered him to cut the film by 30 minutes and tone down some of the violence, a decisions he now regrets.
The goal of this petition is to show Paramount and Paul Anderson that enough of the fans of this movie would like to see the original un-cut version to warrant a special edition DVD/ Bluray in the future.
