Judges need to be chosen ASAP there is no reason to hold back!

Let us try and support nationals instead of hindering the people who work them.

Hiring the judges needs to be done ASAP before the ones on the list take other assignments.

I am signing because I have done two NSS and I have worked numerous NSS's. To change a policy of this type without bringing to the Membership is a serious situation and looks suspicious. I can tell you if you are doing your show chair seriously you do not have 2 minutes to show a dog. Plus you are in direction contact with the judges from the minute they are hired. On top of dinners and lunches with them and driving them to and from the show. We have a standing rule for this reason. This needs to be brought to the membership and not taken upon a few members.

I am signing because the current policy is in force which states the NSS may not show and the chair selects a judge(s). The Show Committee is not following the approved Standing Rule on NSS. They do not get to choose to do that. Any policy change should be printed in the Bulletin for the members to read and comment on BEFORE the Board votes on it. Perhaps for the unapproved 2025 and 2026 any new policy if passed after membership review could apply to those years.
