I live in Brunei so it's in Asia and I can't wait to get this game starts in my country

I am not even a Japanese but Pokemon Go should be first released in Japan among all countries because it is the birthplace of Pokemon. And Niantic being not transparent regarding its release in Asia will only make the situation worse and the server crash more because Asian players who have downloaded the game from other App Store will keep logging in to see if the server is open for them yet. So release the App ASAP pls!

I find it strange that every single country that Pokemon Go is accessible to are "western" countries, while countries in Asia such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and even Japan, the latter being Pokemon's motherland. This is extremely disappointing for fans not only in Asia, but also for those who do not reside in "western" countres. The fact that Pokemon Go is unavailable in an extremely large region such as Asia, with no official reasoning from its developers has caused many to speculate that the Niantic is deliberately ignoring countries outside of the westernized regions, and it reflects badly on the company's image. Could Niantic be xenophobic towards people outside if the American, European and Australian region? Of course, this statement is purely speculation, but it cannot deny that the fact that the decision to not release Pokemon Go outside of these westernized countries with a lack of reasoning sends strong signals of suspicions within many in the community. Unless an acceptable and official reason is given as to why the game is unavailable in the Asia Pacific region, it is ridiculous to not release the game in such a lucrative Asian market whereby there is a large population and high demand. In short I see no reason to hold back Pokemon Go's release in Asia unless it concerns technical difficulties or system instability. Even so, these technical issues have been also reported in the servers in countries that officially have the game and still does not explain why Asian regions do not have access to the game. Hence, it is unjustifiable that Pokemon Go is available only in countries such as the USA, Australia and Europe, but fans throughout Asia are missing out on the opportunity to play without any good reasoning from Niantic. As such, this petition gains my unfailing support.
