Pokemon originated from Asia, in Japan. It makes absolutely no sense for the western market, who caught on the craze later, to play the game so much earlier than the 'birth' country of the series. It is also a known and proven fact that Asia is home to the largest mobile gaming community, so why have we been brushed aside by Niantic? You could have launched the game simultaneously worldwide, or at the very least, give us Asian fans a timeline of when the game will be expected to launch in our countries.
