Relay For Life 2016 needs to be back at Clarksburg High School. The majority of the students who participate in Relay are Clarksburg students. Clarksburg's Relay was started by the CHS SGA and has grown tremendously in the past few years. Relay For Life is a community event that raises thousands of dollars for the fight against cancer. With the school construction done, there is no reason why Relay should not be at Clarksburg. This petition is a chance for the students to voice their opinion and make a difference. We want OUR Relay back!

I am still listening to all your stories about why this event belongs at our school and it truly keeps me going. The effort you all have put into this is far beyond anything I imagined when I started clicking buttons on my laptop.

Seeing this kind of movement is truly overwhelming and entirely due to the passion you have shown for our school. I honestly never imagined that so many people would care enough to put their names behind this effort.

it would really be appreciated if Relay was held at the high school. I see absolutely no problem with it being there. it promotes it and gets more students to join because it's in a familiar surrounding. taking relay away from the high school would not be great at all. personally being on the committee and having to listen to the meetings I have noticed because we haven't had relay at the high school for 2 years a lot of money is taken out of the funds we raised to go against cancer because we must pay for things that are provided at the high school. I'm Hoping the high school will accept us to come back this year and if they don't, it's a big loss for both them, and our relay.
Being a Relay captain and involved in the planning for Relay, I know how important it is that Relay is at CHS
