I fully support the viewpoint of student body. Convocation is the most important and memorable day in the entire academic career of a student. It is the day for which our parents sacrifice their whole life earning and building us. No university should ever undermine the importance of this day and should actually call parents of students the VVIPS of the event rather than an unknown President.

The batch of 2017 deserves to have a memorable graduation day. It is unfair to them and their guests/parents to travel, wait for hours before the ceremony and then get mishandled and be unable to even photograph the precious moments. Let them have their day!

The administration didnt provide the passes to my parents because of strict measures. I emailed the administration and they failed to comply to provide my parents with the passes!

This is time to show that what it means to be educated.Treat the president like president is being treated anywhere in developed countries.I can't compromise my convocation over this stupid VIP protocol.your security agencies should be capable enough to handle security without any inconvenience to real guests in the event..I stand against VIP culture.

Lums graduates deserve to be handed their degree by someone better than the illiterate person that happens to be the President of their country.
