The historical catastrophe of Brexit must be reversed- and inevitably it will be as the consequences of Brexit become clear to all. Unfortunately it will take some years!

As we all know there are no sensible Brexit options. Our political masters know this but seem caught like rabbits in the headlights chanting Brexit must be respected. Someone has to stand up for the interests of the country before it collapses.

Brexit is a big catastrophe and the UK should rejoin the European Union no matter what happens and no cares for other comments, just want to tell those who regretted Brexit to sign this petition as well as the official one from the UK Parliament to HOLD A SECOND EU REFERENDUM, to make things right once again!

We obviously need to not Brexit. Already the country is in a dire state. And it wasn't even a democratic vote - it was based on deliberate lies: all promises already reneged on.

I want to elaborate on this idea. I think Brexit is a profound mistake - for the UK's position economically and as a world power, and especially for our youth and their perspective on the future. However much we may wish it, I am doubtful that a second referendum could be legislated soon, or that the process can be halted now. But even if democracy has spoken, it does not mean the idea is correct -- especially if the EU in the coming years is shocked into significant reform. So Rejoin will stand first as an expression of values and of hope. Second, it can establish the structure so that someone, some group, with the significant support of growing online signatures, can serve structurally within the on-going public debate for the idea of once again seeking EU membership. It may seem improbable, but so did Brexit 25 years ago when UKIP started. As the young generation matures, and as the UK's perspective (and physical size) decreases, EU membership will return to the agenda. We are just getting started early.
