Reject Variance for Lot 9 Meadows Ledg /106 Trent Hallsville MO
There is currently a request to the Board of Adjustments for Lot 9 Meadows ledg in Hallsville MO for a variance to allow for a shed to be put on a vacant lot. Lot 9 is with in the city limits of Hallsville and the current regulations require a home to be on the lot first with sheds/out buildings to be alowed only after the home is established. We are asking the Board of Adjustments to REJECT this variance for multiple reasons; This could allow others in the future to put up sheds/out buildings on open lots throughout the city--therefore detracting from the beauty and quality of City of Hallsvile, thus impacting future growth and revenue for the City. Allowing a shed on a vacant lot in a subdivision that has significant covenants could decrease the value of the lots and homes with in the area and could hamper future sales and growth of said subdivision, thus impacting resale values for those who have already invested significant income in to their homes and community. A shed on an open lot could easily be an eye sore as there would be no buffer from a home being there to soften the landscape. Please sgn the petition to ensure we keep the value and quality of our community.
