This is an unjust process that has not allowed a voice to the congregation at West Hill. The recommendation must be rejected!

Rev. Vesper definitely has a place and a ministry within the bounds of the church. There are many of us who have benefitted from her ministry and contributions to theological dialogue, and the church is enriched by her presence and work.

Upset that the United Church has made a decision without consulting its practitioners,

Gretta Vosper and the West Hill United Church Community are doing such vital work in lifting the veil on people's hearts...sponsoring conversation on spiritual growth in a safe space . A loving, caring spiritual community that is making a profound impact on people's lives

Gretta is a pioneer, a rebel and an inspiration. Gee, wasn't Jesus the same 2000 years ago? I am ashamed of my United Church for not having the vision we need.

400 years ago, Galileo was hauled before the Inquisition for his support of the Copernican view of the solar system. Surely there ought to be more freedom of thought and expression in the United Church in 2016 than there was in Galileo's time!

I am fully in support of Gretta's position. I am so appreciative of all the energy she put into the Canadian Centre of Progressive Christianity having attended many conferences."Blessed be the cracked for they let in the light.

Main line churches are out of step with science and society. We desperately need leaders like gretta vosper.

I believe Gretta Vosper's situation was not well heard or received. There was not enough open minded dialogue, in my opinion.

I am worried about the chilly climate this may create among colleagues.

If Gretta Vesper is not permitted to grow in her faith beyond the specifications of her ordination, then I must be expected to maintain the beliefs I maintained at the moment of my confirmation into United Church membership 71 years ago. If Gretta is removed, I will be obliged to withdraw my membership in my own congregation.

I object to the process invented, not the right of the church to discern theological beliefs or "suitability" for ministry. Whatever that means, which is not clear.

The United Church must support the evolution of the faith. Please do not kick Gretta out of the church.
