Reject the Wyoming, OH resolution for expansion of concealed carry in public places

631 Burns Ave This is VERY not necessary and clearly a pure political act designed not to protect but WIN some imaginary struggle.

I do not believe 50-50 is an accurate representation of views on this issue in the Wyoming community. My family, many friends and I are all strongly opposed.

I am against concealed carry in Wyoming.

More guns are unnecessary.

This is ridiculous. No one needs to carry a gun in Wyoming!

I strongly believe that having more guns in our community only puts our families and loved ones at risk.

I do not think we live in a dangerous community and I think it it unhelpful for us to become known as one of those communities that the NRA wants our nation to become.

When firearms are carried in public, Wyoming will be less safe and an undesirable place to live. What is the need for guns? Who is going to shoot whom, over what? When there is a need for people to carry guns in Wyoming, it is time to move.

This should have been voted on. Bad idea to not engage the community that is directly affected.

I am a life long Wyoming resident(. 4 generations have lived in our wonderful community. I strongly disagree that this makes us a safer community.

I fail to see how this bill enhances a safe environment for our families. Does concealed gun certification include the background checks, mental health assessments, de-escalation training and firing skills that our police receive? Do we want to give anyone who enters or lives in our community the opportunity to kill if they perceive a threat and potentially harm others who may be in the way? As far as not being permitted to conceal carry near children, how is that possible in a small neighborhood such as ours where children are everywhere?

I stand with Terry. This is a terrible idea which makes me feel less safe, not more safe. Let's reverse this immediately!

The Wyoming City leaders have handled this matter without any effective input from the citizens of the city. I do not subscribe to any of the statistically unsupported rationale used in the adoption of this ordinance.

Disappointed in elected yes votes on this issue. Do nothing was best option. As I understand it - this would have embraced our local status quo. More guns in more places does not make me feel safer.

I agree with everything stated in Terry Susskind's well thought out letter. I also feel endorsing conceal and carry sends an inaccurate message about what I believe Wyoming stands for and believes in.

Guns allowed in schools? Disaster!

I think allowing concealed carry ANYWHERE in this community is wrong, wrong, wrong, and starts us on a slippery slope.

This bill does not represent the views of the community. Repeal this resolution.
