This is going to be extremely hard for the kids with special needs! We've worked together with the current school to setup and execute the IEP. It's unfair for us having to start it over again!

It doesn't make sense to leave some area alone in the same community

Worry about kids without friends around, and will spend more time at games, Tvs.

It is hard to believe that new heritage hills along has been proposed to be separated from the rest of the closeby communities when looking at the potential boundary map. Please reconsider and keep NHH's school zone unchanged.

That's very unfair for kids to be separated from their schoolmates/neighbors. Please reconsider it.

It is obvious unfair proposal. Cannot believe it at all.

Not clear how the boundary was drawn.

As the Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne pointed out recently, “We want Ontario to be the best place to work, live and raise a family, and community hubs are a part of that vision” Along with neighborhood centres, schools are the most important community hubs. The proposed new school boundary plan make the kids of NHH be isolated from their peers in the community. And I cannot see this plan is sustainable either. Revise it before it is too late!

A school is a community hub! Every time I looked at the new proposed boundary map, I feel sorry for the kids in NHH. Shame on you OCDSB!

This zoning change will have very negative consequences for the children in the community. Please keep this community together. I strongly oppose this change.

I strongly oppose this change. I moved into this neighbourhood so that my child could attend Stephen Leacock P.S. This zoning doesn't make any sense at all and is completely unfair. Please keep our community together!

I strongly oppose this change. I moved to this community so that my children could attend Stephen Leacock P.S!! Our community needs to be kept together. This is completely unfair to the children in this community. Being forced to leave one's neighbourhood school to attend a new school farther away from home will have negative and lasting consequences in terms of peer relationships. Also, as a tax payer in this area I am VERY upset that my neighbourhood is being singled out.

I fully agree that "having friends around is very important in childhood". I think the children in this small area will feel being isolated. The proposed school boundary change is neither necessary nor fair.

The proposal really bothered my brother. He said that he would lose his all friends in our neighborhood in WEJ and can not make friends since we are not in waking distance from RMES. I strongly disagree with this proposal, it split our whole community and our kids.

Having friends around is very important in childhood. This proposal will be isolated the kids in this area with the whole community which will hurt their health. Please take back this unfair change.

Do not separate the whole community, our kids need friends around in their childhood.
