Do you wish to see the Causeway Coast & Glens Council adopt the no flags policy promoted by Moyle District Council over 42 years?

A proposal to fly Union flags throughout the new Borough Council is to be tabled on the 28th of April 2015. Flags will be flown on all public buildings or seats of government in Limavady, Coleraine, Ballymoney & Moyle.

You have a voice. Support Inclusivity. Support Community. Reject superiority and supremacy. #nonpartisan #apolitical

Please sign the petition. Call on all members of local government to support and adopt a 'no flags' policy.

Seeing this level of support reminds me why I started this fight for our local community. We are showing that residents truly want these public spaces to remain neutral and welcoming for everyone.

Seeing one hundred people put their name behind this gives me such hope for our local community. Thank you for choosing a neutral path where everyone feels welcome in our shared public spaces.

All or nonr seems the only fair options in this boring old topic. I have lived in Moyle for a decade now and the no flags rule seems to have worked. No need to change what works.

Flag flying, of one sort or another, brings disunity & dismay to so many of the peace loving members of this community & country &, when this is well known, the leaders should be promoting unity of purpose of all the people.

Born in England, both parents from Northern Ireland, treated as and identified themselves as immigrants. Intimidated by the rhetoric of the flag debate. No need for the flags to be flown at all. One just society for all

There is no need for any flags to be flying. All it does is promote sectarianism. That's not what we want.....for the sake of harmony and learning to live together as equals it is vital both cultures respect each other

i think flags have caused too many problems in this country. Just look at ballycastle where no flags are flown and everyone lives in harmony with their beliefs and cultures.

There are no flags currently, i personally see no need for flags and emblems in council buildings either by majority or not. if it makes even one person feel uncomfortable it shouldnt happen. Surely we should be working together towards something to make ordinary everyday life better for all.
