My husband and I both oppose changing the rules (codes) in the middle of the game. Keep Naples beautiful and don't change it in the name of greed and growth!

I oppose the purchase and subsequent building of a cult-level public garage. Uphold the district code and vote no. Do what is right for citizens/residents of this area - not what is best for developers.

I really don't see that there is a parking problem. There are two garages near 5th Avenue that can accommodate parking issues.

Why not build structured parking on one of the existing public parking lots. No land purchase need .

I once lived right on this corner. It is a residential neighborhood, and is not suitable for a parking garage.

Please oppose building garage at 4th and 4th. The money planned for this would be better spent elsewhere in our city; i.e., 9th St to Goodlette.

Please respect the views of Naples residents - and taxpayers - and encourage more input from stakeholders and look at better alternatives than building a concrete structure that won't be used most of the year but will significantly reduce the quality of Naples character.

The fate of Naples. Steady descent into a slum. More reminiscent of rowdy drunkenness of New Jersey than the charm of Martha's Vineyard.

It's time for the city to enforce development code's or lobby thru public to agree to change versus letting economic value over ride all decisions to waive codes that were established to frame the charm of old Naples.
Council holds the responsibility and were elected by the community to administer codes that frame our city and protect the community against creep that will change the very environment that has made the Naples community the envy around the world. Clearly The city council elected by the community has a different vision for OldNaples that is being imposed by continuous waiver to codes meant to guide development of the Naples we all love. If these codes are not appropriate and are inconsistent with a desired outcome do the work to change don't waiver the new vision on the community
Who elected the council to protect what makes Naples unique around the world With it's charm and culture.don'tallow special interests to erode our core value piece by piece for their short term gains.

It is critical to preserve the charm and integrity of Olde Naples. More parking would result in more density on 5th Avenue South and destroy the character that has been winning awards for charm and unique character. We are unique in all of Florida for the lack of dense building and the charming appeal of our streets.
