I am vehemently opposed to this development. Taxpayer money, money in general is better spent elsewhere. This is an extremely residential area and the 5th Ave. S. district does NOT need further economic development by way of more cement. Naples is Naples because of its standards on preservation and keeping it the low-key haven for all walks of life. This building will achieve exactly the opposite. VOTE NO!

I'm opposed to building a parking garage on the corner of 4th and 4th. The Council should vote No and seek alternatives to relieve parking that do not involve misappropriation of tax monies or destruction of the character of Old Naples. Moreover, there needs to be careful analysis of the environmental impact of such a plan on our beaches.

I have been a full time resident of Florida for 47 years. During that time I have witnessed the quality of life deteriorate. Naples has lost its charm due to commercialism beyond what the infrastructure can provide.

This is a travesty. The City Council has lost it's way. Old Naples is all there is left of a once beautiful and serene beach town. Please do not destroy the best thing that is left in Naples.

The garage is not necessary at the 3rd street end. Valet works great in the evenings and the two garages at eighth are adequate for the rest. .

We are losing the charm of Old Naples and once gone, it can never be recreated! Please consider off-site parking, outside of downtown or residential areas, with continuous shuttles for the visitors.
