I am a long term resident of Old Naples. Our family home was built in 1925. I am not opposed to well thought out city planning. The proposed parking garage does not meet this criteria. It is being built in a residential neighborhood and will be unsightly. It will dramatically increase traffic in an already congested area. Furthermore it will be funded with local tax dollars from citizens who strongly oppose it. Who will benefit? Only local merchants. Why should they not fund it?

I vehemently oppose the garage on 4th. Naples has enough parking spaces. Do not make any more changes to spoil the charm of Naples. We all love the charm of Naples. Don't ruin our lovely small town. Remember why we all moved here!!

I realize that downtown Naples needs more parking but surely there are other areas that are closer. Why are you wanting a vote now when fewer actual residents are in town? Please at least wait until all those that live downtown are there to be aware of the proposal and can make a decision and vote.

This is unnecessary. Please procure the property on 9 th that was deemed for the garage, formerly our Ups store. I also find it odd that Sam Saad is sending me Vote FOR emails. That sounds like a major conflict of interest.
