Please do not ruin the charm of downtown Naples by putting in high rise buildings and parking garages. I am from Chicago and lived in the city for many years until the traffic and lifestyle became unbearable. I then moved to Ft. Lauderdale area only to have the same thing happen. I am 50 years old and am saddened to think I will have to move a third time, as I planned on retiring here in Naples. God's natural beauty, tranquility and wildlife is being destroyed before my eyes again for greedy profit!! Please help to stop this! Monica Joseph

We've seen no justification as to how or why a garage is needed on 4th and 4th. Who's driving this project?

Keep that area residential. People have lived in that area for many years.

I am totally against the garage since it doesn't make any sense for many reasons. I park every day at the Cambier parking garage, on average 200 empty spaces each day. Why add more parking? Also, more parking equals more traffic, not necessary.

Enough greedy overdevelopment in Old Naples. Remember why we moved here and stop taxing and tapping the coffers for out of control "development" in this area of Naples. So many Naples areas need consideration for controlled redevelopment and renewal.5th ave. and 3rd st. have no way to safely and effectively handle more traffic. I have lived in Naples 60+ years and witnessed too many McMansion/expansion projects that simply seem to be motivated by "show" and the almighty $$. ,
