Most of us moved to this city because it was the kind of place that had a July 4 parade and community functions, the essence of what we have known as Fairfax City. What we did not move here for is disruption of community, turnover, and traffic and parking problems.

This project does not make sense unless the University Dr. is at least four lanes. Rather than making improvement to the downtown image of City of Fairfax, this project will downgrade City of Fairfax's reputation and property values of many houses and townhouse. This means less tax revenue for the city. Politicians who don't watch out for the interests of citizens will pay a price at elections.

This development only benefits the Davies Family quest for $$$ for their FAMILY TRUST FUND and Paradigm's desire to manage the property for the same purpose..

I understand the need to develop the Davies property, but not what is proposed. Not at all. A collection of permanent residences that fit with the character of our City, our zoning laws and our Comprehensive Plan is much more in keeping with the character of the City as well as practical for all the surrounding neighborhoods. The City of Fairfax does not need to provide student housing near the Historic Area, double the traffic and have rapid renter turn over. This would ruin what is so unique and special about our City.

This proposal is absurd. When are you going to stop pretending that single use development meets the multi-use standards of the city? This area is perfect for mixed retail, commercial, and residential uses.

I am not against development. There are options that would benefit the Davies family and the hundreds of other property owners who live nearby. This apartment complex benefits one property owner at the expense of all the other owners and the city itself.

Thanks for doing this.

These renters will not have any financial buy-in to the community. By Paradigm's admission there will be a 50% turn-over each year. We want neighbors that will make us a community and invest into it.
