It is my prayer that this nation be collectively enlightened on the rational of having a clear divorce law in the country. It provides a good closure for couples who need to separate for valid reasons. It protects each member of the family in cases of dysfunctions. It promotes an optimistic view of people as capable of making responsible choices and decisions. Divorce is not for everyone, but our system of law must be complete enough to serve people of varying circumstances in life.
