Please pass the Divorce Law especially for us that was still sufferring from emotional abuse even if we are separated for a long time. Still married in the paper and still not free and still sufferring until now because we we cannot afford annulment.

I'm agree of having a Divorce Bill here in our country because it's time for those who needed freedom from a failed & abusive & deadly kind of marriage due to other party's lawlessness or being severely infidel, irresponsible & greediness.

Please approve/allow divorce in the Phillippines. I want to divorce my estrange husband who I was only with for 2 years. We separated and left me with 2 sons who I raised by myself. I was 18 at the time we were wed in civil. Very innocent and ignorant about the law at the time. Now I am 35 and I have lost a lot of opportunities in life, I don't regret being a mother to my kids but I regret that I have to wed someone who won't be there for us physically, emotionally and financially.

Let people choose to divorce, why prolong a marriage when it’s not working. Are you just waiting for the man who continuously abuses and hurt or possibly kill his spouse? Let them be free.

Even in the Bible its been written that divorce is allowed...to protect women from their abusive partners. To protect women from this very judgemental society.
