The Bridgewater-Raritan High School band program has been doing exceptionally well because of its two great band directors.They complement each other very well and bring out the best in our children. Although some people may have a difference of opinion, we strongly believe that we need both of our directors teaching together to keep it as one of the best band programs in the state. With the current situation the children are not motivated enough. They are trying their best. The graduating class would love to be recognized at the band banquet by both of their directors. They have worked so hard for four years and to have one of their directors taken away will be very unfortunate. Also, for the children who look forward to the band program come to school because they are passionate about what they do. Nobody should take that away from the children. Mr. Larry Markiewicz is driven to teach along with Mr.Gary Myer. How many teachers do that anymore? We think the suspension is a sufficient enough punishment. We, as a band, have worked really hard to make a name for ourselves. We don't think that is trivial. Nobody should take that away from these children. Please bring Mr. Markiewicz back. We want what is best for our Bands.
