This is absolutely absurd. We are in the middle of a season and KSU decide to fire one of their hardest working coaches. Coach Christina Coleman is loyal to her team and the KSU program.

Coaches should be allowed to make their decisions.. That's why they are the coach. Parents need to understand that.. That's a shame. I played collegiate ball and never once did my parents complain about me not playing. Respect is the name of the game here..

There is no reason she should have been fired in the middle of the season, especially when there is no suitable replacement. This has ruined the girls season and spirits. As a former student under Coach Coleman, I know what she has done for this team and what more she has to offer our WINNING reputation. Kentucky State needs her back. If the school cared about women's teams as much as they claim to, this would have never happened in such an abrupt and aggressive manner.

I have had the pleasure to play under Coach Coleman last season for my final year of athletics. Because of her determination, persistence, and spirit, I am blessed to say that I finished my last season with a conference championship ring. No other coach at Kentucky State is as decorated as she is in the realm of breeding WINNERS. She has done so much for the program and treats each player as if they were one of her own. I still carry a strong bond with my coach till this very day and I hope that K-State sees that she vital to the success in the volleyball program. Real coaches show real results. Bring Coach Coleman back!
