This petition is being presented requesting your support in the efforts to apply for the reinstatement of the Alpha Mu Letters to the chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi on the campus of Lincoln University. For the past 18 years (since 2003) the letters were retired, and the Alpha Mu chapter has been missing from the history of the Grand Fraternity during this time.

The feedback I have received regarding the absence of the Alpha Mu chapter reveals a deep desire among alumni to see our history restored. I am currently reaching out to national leadership to discuss the formal application process for reinstatement. Your continued engagement keeps this goal at the forefront of our collective pursuit.

The response to this petition has been truly significant. We have reached a level of engagement that validates the importance of restoring the Alpha Mu chapter to Lincoln University.

I remember going to the Kappa CD release in St. Louis, Mo. and hearing Brother Jonathan Hicks passionately state that Alpha Mu was instrumental in the making of the original Kappa Songs...It was truly an inspiring moment to say the least. I know it has always been a moment that I look forward to when we are gathered together during homecoming...and that is hearing the brothers of Alpha Mu sing...!!!
Kappa Alpha Psi has existed on Lincoln University’s campus since 1932. Alpha Mu is synonymous with the state of Missouri. Men have enrolled into the university to become affiliated with Alpha Mu. As a Life Member of our Fraternity I feel it will only be a benefit to every member that has come through Alpha Mu and future generations to reinstate Alpha Mu.
One of the best leadership experiences I’ve had was as the Polemarch of the Alpha Mu Chapter 1985 and 1986 Dr. K.D. Harris
As a 1989 initiate of A-Mu, and as a Life Member, in Good Standing, I am honored to attach my signature to this petition.
One of the very reasons for my lifetime success!!! Return Alpha MU to its rightful place and legacy!!!
