Reinstate Wrestling Coach Jody Webb- Capital HS

I have had the privilege of working for Jody when he was coaching during my years at Capital High School. He is an outstanding coach and always fair. He cares about the kids he coaches and he makes every effort to keep them out of trouble. His character is one of integrity and honesty. I have known Jody for 10 years and I have never once questioned his character.

Jody Webb is one of the greatest mentors I've had in my life. He happily (and most likely unknowingly) became my father figure when I was an adolescent, even though he was raising his own young children. He gave me a hand to pick me off the ground, a shoulder to lean on, a push in the right direction, and a (figurative) smack in the back of the head when I needed it. He helped me focus my aggression, inspired me to set and achieve my goals, and set an example of mental fortitude that has helped me overcome every obstacle I've come against. Without EVER pressing his religion, he was able to instill upon me the desire to do the right thing, even if its not the popular opinion or how painful it might be. Jody was never just a coach or a boss or a teacher to me, he was a leader. And the effect of the lessons he taught me as a teenager can not be quantified in regards to the successes I've had as an adult. Jody, if you're reading this, thank you. And you're still a fat ass.

So sad the school district is pushing another great coach away. Neither Jerry Hollow or Webb deserve such mistreatment.

Jody is an outstanding coach and mentor for high school kids. Proud that he was my 2 sons wrestling coach. Please bring him back!

Wrestled against his team throughout hs even a couple tournaments where he has given me advice. He's a great coach.

It's disheartening to know that our School District Officials at any capacity would allow agenda over valued leadership in one of our schools. I have known this man for over 10 years. Jody Webb is a class act, a rare find in a coach and mentor. I proudly support him and his family. Reading these comments validates the impact he has had on the lives of so many people, young and old. Way to stand by your morals and values Jody! We are behind you!

Jody is a great coach and an even better person. At the very least, he deserves to have his case heard by the Board of Trustees, and should ultimately be reinstated as a coach and teacher.

This is a great man who has taught so many of us great values an ethics!!

This man was an amazing teacher and an even better person! He deserves to be treated much better than this!

I have lived in my current home as our 2 last children grew up over the past 21 years. Jody moved in with his young family not to many years after we did. He is a stellar Neighbor and Father and Friend...reinstate him to Capital Wrestling ASAP for the sake of the young folks he coaches!

I worked with and around Jody for many years. He is a genuine coach that has been building a program from the ground up. Coaches like Jody are hard to find these days and to remove one of them from our community would be an injustice.

Please reinstate the coach!
