Please reinstate this legislation. When considering what is best for students we need to understand that students deserve teachers who can match their energy and enthusiasm. By reinstating the rule of 90 we are allowing each individual teacher to decide when they can no longer provide this. In addition, a pension fund with a rule of 90 will attract many new teachers to the profession.

I think educators are asked to do as much if not more than many other jobs for a lot less money. One of the benefits that can make that worthwhile and keep people going into the field would be the rule of 90.

With the goal of increasing student achievement, we need to have educators in the field who are up to the challenge. We shouldn't expect that all educators can be effective until the age of 66. With the reinstatement of the Rule of 90, it enables those educators that know they can not be as effective the opportunity to retire and pass the torch to the new and upcoming educators.

I want to teach. I also want to be able to stop at a decent age. To have to teach until 66, would force me to stay in even if it isn't in my best interests or my students. I should be able to make the decision that is best for me and my students not because I am financially penalized.

Please reinstate this important piece of legislation. Teacher burnout is real and happening at an ever-increasing rate. It is important that we attract fresh teachers and new blood by offering important incentives such as this.

I want to teach. I also want to be able to stop at a decent age. To have to teach until 66, would try my patience and I would be a crabby teacher the last few years, and I do not want that!

Reinstating the Rule of 90 would allow teachers who have worked hard for their career to retire and provide newer teachers to have teaching positions and opportunities grow in their profession.

The rule of 90 is motivation and inspiration for educators to do their job well and know they can have a relaxing and well deserved retirement. Please reinstate the rule of 90; 66 years old is far long to require a full pension. It especially hurts teachers like me that start at a young age.
