In an age where we should have greater connectivity this service would be so beneficial.

This service in 1967 enabled me to begin my work career, I went on to greater things and moved often , none of that would have been possible without the initial opportunity a functional transport system offered this whole region is being held back by the lack of a transport system the same as that in South East England

We need more regular (and larger trains) on the Crewe to Derby Route. More often than not they are rammed when I use them. Two carriages is simply not enough especially on weekends and match days. It really has the potentil to be such a profitable route if it is managed correctly. Will any of the HS2 'Network North' money be used to electrify the line across the country to Derby?

The public transport network in north staffordshire is terrible and for those who do not drive a car makes life very restricted. I believe that an hourly train service should be restored providing much better travelling opportunities for leisure, education and working.

Cross country travel (east-west-east) is extremely difficult and there is therefore no incentive for people to leave their cars behind and avail themselves of public transport.
This is a service highly sought after by all along the route.

I have been asking EMR for the 13.10 from Crewe Saturday service to be reinstated for 2 years now. They are losing out on approx 100 Derby County supporters who used to catch this train from Uttoxeter and Tutbury & Hatton for every home game. It used to arrive into Derby just before 14.30 which was ideal to get to the ground before kick off

Very important to reinstate this train service. How are we expected to use cars less if there aren’t alternatives?

Good news that the weekday peak time trains are returning, but more is needed, especially on a Saturday. This is a vital link for local people which then connects to the main lines up and down the country.
