The overgrown footpath is an accident waiting to happen. If the council put half the effort (and money) that they put into patching the water pipe in the same area the footpath could be gold plated!

Absolutely - there is a letter being sent tomorrow to Irish Water, which we will circulate within the community for people to send individually. We have the support of local councilors who will help us try our best to coordinate the water and path issues. Thanks for your support

Yes this footpath is badly needed but should be done in conjunction with Irishwater replacing the pipeline. The small section of footpath that they have already layed has been dug up due to yet another leak. We don’t want to see this happen in the future.
