Can't handle the truth? The Healthy Nation Coalition supports complete transparency in our examination of the Dietary Guidelines. The American public deserve no less than the best information that can promote adequate essential nutrition.

I'm not surprised CSPI and USDA didn't want her involved; she rightfully skewered CSPI for the Transfat debacle, and the USDA for the food pyramid in her book. It's not a justification for dropping her from the panel.

Stop the travesty. There should be room for differing points of view.

Nina has spent a decade researching nutrition science. What have the other panel members done? Worked for big business? Who pays their mortgages? If the nutrition science can't stand up to Nina & the public's scrutiny, what is being hidden? Claire Spinkston Chartered Accountant

Our chronic disease global pandemic is a serious threat. We need all views on solutions and the underlying causes to be heard. What we have been doing isn't working. However what Nina advocates has restored health in millions. Her scientific reasoning as to why MUST be heard of society is to survive.

The record of continuous failures of the old guard suggests that we need at least one new voice if not a whole replacement.

I had off the chart bad blood glucose and after doing low carb I now get normal BG. The only people benefiting from high carb are processed food manufacturers and pharmaceutical groups. Nina Teicholz should be reinstated !

The truth will out. Disinviting knowledgable individuals will not stop the wisdom of the crowds.

All thoughts should be presented. This should not be a council of "yes" people. It should be a discussion of open minded people as science is always changing.

Balance up the panel. Put a stop to excessive industry influence in dietary advice.
