Who will speak for the butter, meat and cheese? Everyone attempting to keep Nina out of the debate should be ashamed, but sadly, they are likely incapable of feeling shame.

We need to have balanced perspectives and remain open minded about nutrition matters. I'm sorry to hear you were dis-invited.

So tired of science being ignored in favour of the industry that has the most marketing and advertising money. Listen to science!

Outrageous! When is the US Government going to WAKE UP to the failed, absolutely devastating affects of the Low Fat High Carb diet that has been pushed down Consumers throats. Lives are at stake! Science NEVER EVER supported this travesty of the food pyramid, the My plate etc... Please do what is right and reinstate Nina Teicholz!

It is obvious that what we "thought" we knew about nutrition was wrong so why keep going down the same road and ignoring science!

We sorely need new Nina's perspective and input on the food policy panel. She has done comprehensive research into nutrition policy and the science behind past and current guidelines, and has found USDA's rules to be far out of sync with what we actually know now about human nutrition.

What are other panelists afraid of? Nina should be able to provide a dissenting view.

Open any H.S. Yearbook from the 30s-60s and look hard to find the overweight student!
Every lunch was prepared in the school kitchen, and consisted of a meat, starch(potato concoction) veg and salad. We dressed for PE 4-5 times /week.

I'm beyond angry that the crap we've been fed as food science has been anything but science. My health has improved because of people like Nina and their courageous stance against the greed and corruption of politics, money, "Big Food", and the pharmaceutical and agricultural industries. They should be afraid of Nina, the power of social media, and all of us who have the power to bring them down by simply what we buy to eat.

We desperately need the voices of true evidence-based science on this panel. Bring Nina back on, or at least invite objective experts instead of biased figure heads that do not have anyone's health as a concern.
