Your actions disgust. Outrage! Then you come and work in the hospitals and SEE what your 'food' DOES to people. It does not kill outright! No! There are worse things than death!

What happened to scientific method & breadth of opinion???

Nina's views are based on a rigorous assessment of the science. She belongs on this panel to be sure its conclusions are fair and accurate.

Is the old guard so afraid of change that they will openly prevent discussion? The scientific method is to try to disprove every hypothesis. How is the heart lipid hypothesis standing up to actual facts and evidence? Is reality threatening revenue streams?

Ms. Teicholz work was acknowledged by the Canadian Senate who are presently reviewing Canada Food Guidelines. At lease these Senators know the value of her work!

It is scandalous that a researcher of the caliber of Nina Teicholz was removed from this panel and replaced with another food industry insider. We have epidemics of obesity and diabetes in this country due to the appalling nutritional guidelines the public was mislead into following for 40 years. My own family suffered indescribable harm and those of us who didn't die from the complications of following such unsound advice are still recovering our health, but are hopeful because we are now following the recommendations of those who have used actual science to offer us valid nutritional advice. How many more deaths and, perhaps worse, impaired lives must we see before the guidelines are written by scientists such as Nina Teicholz and her colleagues?

The last thing we need is industry insider bullies deciding food policy without adequate consideration of all data.

Please do not silence those who base their views on solid science. This is long overdue. Time to give voice to other views.

Nina has made enormous contributions to healthy diets. By disinviting her you have caved to the food industry and ignored your duty to the public. Unless she is reinstated, I will do everything in my power to get the FDA out of the business of advising us how to eat.

We must come consider all the facts and data, not just the convienient ones.

This is wrong on so many levels; Nina's dismissal, the replacement of her with an industry insider, the gang mentality at work here against her...shame on them.

If you don't believe Nina Teicholz' arguments, debate with her; don't ban her!

It only makes sense to have Nina Teicholz challenging the standard diet that has given rise to type 2 diabetes and all its a company in risks.

Science is built on diversity of opinion and thinking. Removing Teicholz is anti-science.

Nina's work contributed to thousands of people informing themselves and living healthier lives. Her place on the food panel is well deserved.
