Low carb is saving my life, I was misled in the past I could eat lots of carbs. All I did was gain weight and develop IBS. Neither occurs now that I eat low carb.

It's my understanding that some other panelists said they wouldn't participate if Nina Teicholz attended. The pettiness of nutrtition science is amazing. One of the most prestigious medical journals in the world thinks highly of her work. Too bad the people who disagree with her are afraid to discuss these matters openly. I recall the recent low carb conference in South Africa. All the speakers were pro-low carb. Anti-low carb speakers were invited but refused to attend.

Slowly, people are realizing how wrong the academic community has been, but it takes them far too long to admit their mistakes, we need Nina's voice.

Please allow Ms. Teicholz to present another view on the Food Policy Panel. We need someone who will speak the truth.

Where food policy is concerned, corporatocracy is what comes to mind. When you think about it, isn't it preferable that that our government be of the people, by the people and for the people? Sadly, politicians are not equipped by either their academic learning or political experience to evaluate scientific debate. That said, one wonders how much longer the Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion will be able to keep up the illusion that it is utilizing the scientific evidence to best advantage in terms of protecting and promoting the public health.

The politics of the food industry have reached a disgusting level and the powers that be will soon be laughed off their shelf.

A diet like that described by Teicholz has helped me regain my health and well being. She NEEDS to have the right to speak and frankly I'm disgusted that free speech isn't being maintained.

Allow Ms. Teicholz to speak and appear on the Food Policy Panel. Allow voices that have challenged the arrogant and ignorant status quo that clings to information that based upon results, has not and does not serve the public health interests of the people.

A variety of views makes so much sense in a Food Policy Panel. Nina Teicholz should be reinstated! The standard low fat diet is a killer, and you could learn from her.

You absolutely need intelligent people like Nina Tiecholz who is on top of and grasps the recent research on the panel. Reinstate her.

I don't necessarily agree with Teicholz on saturated fat, but this view needs to be heard.

Listen to her the old ways need to be checked, low fat does not work. Our people are dying and sick from all the dietaey lies. Wake up government, stop being bought and do the right thing!
