How can you have a 'panel' for Food Policy, if you won't accept or listen to different view points when it comes to nutrition? The world has an obesity epidemic, maybe the old school of thought regarding nutrition is flawed...time for a true update and not more, same old, same old, as I fear will happen within this panel...time to look at what really could be the cause of it, and STOP minding to special interests and worrying about a bruised ego or two.

How ignorant can "science" people get? Not ignorant at all--it's pure greed and fear of having screwed up our nation's health with "diet wisdom" over the last fifty years!

Reminds me of all the cry bullies on college campuses--shut down any opinion that doesn't tow the line. I lost 145# eating LCHF, am no longer Prediabetic, off blood pressure meds and have never been healthier. Re-invite Nina!

The empirical questions revolving around diet and nutrition in the United States and abroad ought to be debated scientifically, not bureaucratically. To disinvite someone simply because their views oppose your own is antithetical to science, and thus to what the point of the food policy panel should be. Grow up, give up the tantrum, and start acting like scientists.

I am tired of the OMG (Old Medical Guard, who depend upon no change for income and position) blocking well-wrought research while Americans following their arrogant bad have grow sicker. If they were true to their oath they would welcome correction rather than banishing it.

USA is far behind the rest of the world in so many areas, producing only propaganda and blocking out progressive viewpoints. It saddens me.

Her book is fantastic. The panel should be about open and honest dialogue.
