I was a member of Stewartville’s gymnastics program beginning with community education when I was young and continuing through to the high school team once I reached 7th grade. I have coached community education quite a few times over the years and it feels like we are taking away an opportunity that is in high demand by cutting the gymnastics program. We have a very large number of girls, my 5 year old daughter included, who attend other clubs for gymnastics because the facilities offered in Stewartville cannot come close to competing with what club gymnastics has to offer. I pray that a solution can be found to provide this opportunity to young Tiger gymnasts for years to come.

I feel this is a activity that should be kept to keep students active and involved

Cutting the gymnastics program will have far reaching impact beyond Stewartville district. There is already limited opportunity and access to gymnastics, and my daughter comes from a different district that has benefited from the Stewartville gymnastics community ed program. Please reinstate both the community ed and high school gymnastics programs.

This sport both in high school and in community Ed is so important to the health of your young people.

Some of these young girls have been doing gymnastics since they were small children. It’s proven that kids need to stay busy and do what they love.

This is so sad that a female varsity sport that has been around for over 5O years can be "canceled" on a whim with little data.

Do the right thing and give gymnastics their team back.

We have two little girls that love gymnastics. We’re hoping this doesn’t go away

Please send an email to the administration and board members. This isn't just going to affect the high school program, but this is also going to affect many families in the community as so many little ones are in community ed gymnastics.

Wasn't BCI built for gymnastics space? Why aren't we utilizing that space to allow for more spectators to watch. Where will the Community Ed funds go if not towards the gymnastics program? Seeing my niece, who has had a strong passion for gymnastics since she was a toddler, hurting due to the possibility of gymnastics, her junior year, being cut is painful. This will cause a lot of children who have the passion for gymnastics mental health issues, which will not be in the best interests of these children, their families, and friends.

Stewartville should be able to support a gymnastics program - let's get this figured out

We need to keep gymnastics. It is a different athletic arena and should be honored and respected like other sports we continue to pour money in. Look for creative solutions rather than cut whole program.

It is very important to keep this gymnastics program as part of our community

Keep the gymnastics program! So many youth are excited for this sport and it’s sad to see the girls currently in the program who have worked so hard with minimal space get this taken away from them. This also affects the youth gymnastics that always has a waiting list to get into! If this is taken away there are no options for Stewartville gymnasts!
