They are good boys and I'm sure whatever the issue it can be handled in a different way.

Known them both since grade school, and they've both almost always played basketball. Regardless of how long, talent, or anything else, they should've at LEAST been allowed to play on JV. This is why southeastern is a joke. Last names shouldn't mean anything, it's their hearts & soul for the sports that should allow them to play.

Freshman Dakota Grim was also cut. As small as southeastern is I would think everyone would make the team. I feel bad for the seniors but also for my son who has played with these 9th grade boys for the 2 years we have lived here.

I think that if Bronson didn't reach varsity requirements I think he should be able to play on jv considering he has never played high school basketball. I believe that ryan should be able to play considering he has always played ever since elementary school. It's his senior year.

My best friend is good enough to play on the basketball team. I'm sick of seeing coaches playing favorites.

Denver Ratliff explained the situation to me & it's thoroughly disappointing. I am in no way personally connected to these boys, but as an outside voice, I do believe they should be given the chance to finish highschool playing the game they love.

I've known Bronson and Ryan for as long as I can remember, and there passion, love and dedication for the game of basketball is tremendous. They are both very good players, and deserve to play with all they have there senior year. One day of tryouts will not show the growth and spirit they will continue to have. These seniors deserve to play. Give them the chance they deserve.

Some people dedicate themselves to the game they love - not for fame or glory - but because they love the sport. For most kids the culmination of that dream is their senior year. To take that final moment away from them in a school this size... It just doesn't make sense. The underclassmen will have their opportunity - give these boys theirs.

I sign this petition because i believe this is the exact same way i felt when i got cut from the baseball team. Its the same concept. There is no way that a small school with the class size of 53 kids should cut any athlete from their team. There is no need for it. Cutting atetes as seniors and replacing them with the lower class athletes shows that southeastern has no confidence in what their seniors can do. Reinstate Bronson Perry and Ryan Toops to the basketball team.
