Reinstate the Museum of Science and Industry Science Minors/Achievers Program

I love the museum and the science achievers program and we all miss it a lot.

My son has benefited from MSI since his freshman year. He will be a senior this fall and MSI has developed his confidence and speaking skills. Every Saturday, my son is excited to participate and does not want to miss a session. This is extremely important to a parent of a teenager. As a parent, it hurts my heart for a program and leaders who inspire young adults to end at this time. Please reconsider.

The museum means a lot to me. I’ve formed relationships with others that I know will never be broken. It’s also given me a chance to improve my public speaking skills working on the floor.

Kids need this program!

This program was so much more than just science. It was a judgement free space for kids of all backgrounds to share ideas and i hope it’s brought back for future kids to experience

The marathon continues ! We must continue to enrich our children’s lives with the science minors and achievers program and staff.

This wonderful program provides very important tools to the development of future professionals. My daugther enjoys being part of the Science Achievers Program.

I worked with this program as a lead for a couple of years, and it was an honor to work with such an amazing group of bright, talented fun individuals, and the MSI staff that ran the program (Marvin, Tanita and many more). I hope the program can continue on and give the same experiences to more young adults in the future.

Especially with last years multi million dollar grant I think MSI should be able to allocate the funds for these valuable Programs

This was the best program ever and it was a great opportunity for me to learn something new and meet people who I am still close with till this day please don’t let the program go they need an experience like the museum it is such a fun place to ever be at everyone is nice and friendly. Really some good knowledge when you leave from this place I say one thing about this program is the instructors and what they taught every Saturday you walked out of there with knew knowledge about science and the real world.

I’ve volunteered with Science Achievers for 4 years and it has been a defining program in my life. I’ve grown so much through volunteering at MSI and it kills me to see a program so unique within the country be terminated.
