I have listened to CKOC for years, mainly because of Ray Michaels. Throughout the holiday season, I felt that something was missing that made the station sound 'bland'. Then I realized that Ray was no longer there. what a shame!!! Hopefully, he will show up elsewhere and I'll e able to enjoy the music more. Hame on you!!. Throughout the holiday season

When I think back on My youth listening to AM radio, I remember the CNE, the Drive In and just cruising listening to the top tunes of the Day

What are you thinking! Losing the Anchor to your station leaves it floundering with no substance or direction. Rockin Ray was the life blood of the station, not to mention the drive behind all the extra activities that kept CKOC high in everyone’s mind. This is exactly why satellite radio is taking hold, no one worth listening to, so just go for straight music. You are making a very big mistake.

thru December as I listened to the station, I kept thinking, something is "off". All thru the holidays, the shows were bland and unexciting - and I couldn't figure out what Ray's new schedule must be cause I kept missing his show. Now I come to find out Ray's been fired? He was the bedrock of that station!! CKOC, you've just lost another listener :(

I have listened to CKOC since the 50's. The day I hear they let Rock 'N' Ray go I stopped listening to CKOC.Please bring him back.

I Just found out that you let Ray Michaels go. That's terrible. He was the main reason I listened to this station. He was interesting and zany and added much to the mundane day. He was also a tireless promoter of your station. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!

What have you done! The daily smiles and upbeat, loving caring voice of one Superstar radio personality has been uncaringly silenced. This man has workede tirelessly for the city of Hamilton and CKOC. Your station management should be ashamed of doing this outrageous act. We have already stopped listening to your station and have found another one to enjoy(albeit without Rocking Ray Michaels. This note has been politely written as to what I really wanted to say. Thank you.

Well , the first clue to his firing is in the ownership of the radio station .Its owned by Bell, what do you expect . They fired Ray and now they have three dj's working on the station . And when they can find someone to work for less than them , then they will be gone to . Rockin Ray worked tirelessly for the station and always sounded good .But ask with everything involving Bell , it comes down to money . They don't care that he was loved by his listeners ,bottom line is they found someone to work for less money .The next thing to come will be twenty four hour auto play and no disc jockeys at all,it will all be done by a computer .

I am very disappointed that Ray is no more on the radio. I listen to him every afternoon and on Saturday mornings - the all request show. He has made millions of dollars over his 30+ years on the radio for the people of Hamilton and surrounding areas. The network should be ashamed to have let a wonderful human being go. BRING HIM BACK NOW.

Please, please bring Ray Michaels back! CKOC is not worth listening to anymore. Ray Michaels is best dj ever! He is funny, witty and great voice. No other employee will be so dedicated to a company as he was, therefore worth every penny and more!!!

I used to listen to CKOC many years ago, as did my husband. He came across Rock'n'Ray's show, and we started listening faithfully. Not any more! You need to change up your playlist - I'm sure the Eagles weren't the only band in the 70's!
