I do not listen to CKOC anymore, now that Ray Michaels is gone. He is the funniest DJ ever. I used to listen to his program every day. I wish that he were back so that I could listen to him again. Now I am listening to Toronto FM stations in the afternoon. Very disappointing for me.

I always loved and listened to CKOC in Hamilton! I loved the format, and DJ's, especially "Rockin Ray", and "Ted Yates"! Two nice down to earth guys that loved music, and the Hamilton community! You have completely killed it! Now I hear just another generic classic rock station! What an absolute shame that the people responsible didn't see the value that these two guys had to offer! So much more than just playing music! They really genuinely loved Hamilton, and the people of Hamilton! What a disgrace that we once had a station that we prided ourselves on, and you KILLED it! Very best wishes to "Rockin Ray", and "Mr. Yates", you will be truly missed!

Ray was a staple at ckoc, I for one will never tune in this station as long as Rock N RAY,isn't with it. I guess it's time to go with sirus radio. You might as well turn CKOC, in to another talk radio news station.

are u people crazy...what this man does from his heart for both yr station and the community..hes made YOUR station...his reputation is gigantic ...we need this man...he brings us back to an era if peace and contentment that is needed in this world if horror stress meanness bullies and control of our society

Listen in the morning but not in the afternoon now that Ray is gone. Unbelievable. Hope he is reinstated...if not their loss.

It is a "Bell" decision, a company not known for caring about it's customers until it is too late. Rock N' Ray will be missed.

I can't believe this has happened. His replacement is so dry and boring. Rockin Ray can never be replaced and will ever be missed.

Ray was CKOC! He made the afternoons interesting . With his dismissal I have noticed that sponsorships have disappeared. and the station is on auto mode most of the time. The format change to play more 80's music has not been good. I'm still looking for a replacement. Maybe I will checkout Zoomer Radio,again.

AS LONG TIME LISTENERS FROM OHIO WE WERE VERY DIAPPOINTED TO HEAR THAT ONE OF THE BEST RADIO PERSONALITIES WE HAVE EVER ENJOYED WAS LET GO BY CKOC. WE HAVE LISTENED TO YOUR STATON SINCE THE DAYS OF ANGUS MCKAY WHICH WAS IN THE EARLY 70'S AND NOW ARE GOING TO HAVE TOSEARCH FOR A REPLACEMENT ---NOT AN EASY JOB!!!

Rock 'N Ray Michaels has been greatly missed! His usual time slot from noon to 6:oo just isn't the same without him. Bring back Rock 'N Ray Michaels!

I wrote the president of CKOC and have not had the courtesy of a reply. I have been an avid listener of that station for many, many years and have cut back my listening hours significantly. My favourite expression around the house was, I only need a radio with one station, CKOC. Now I have been out after dark and know how business works. I own BCe shares after all. I wish Ray all the best and hope he surfaces somewhere else soon. I truly miss his style. Now, go put your clothes back on.

The station is no longer fun to listen to on the way home from work. The announcer makes or breaks the show and they screwed it up totally now.
