This is an extremely busy road and the crossing is on a blind corner. Cars park either side of the road quite close to the crossing which makes visibility poor. The children are in danger when crossing the road and a Road Crossing Assistant is essential. To remove such vital assistance to the children is ludicrous!

Lots of near missies with children involved and also a lot of fast traffic on road outside school.

Anyone only needs to stand and watch a school run to see thats its a necessity.

Reinstate the school crossing patrol. Safety is a must for our Briary children ! Many people drive recklessly passed there with no thought for the safety of parents and children trying to cross the road.

I want to feel that my children's safety is top priority, but as they are growing independent and reaching their last year of school they no longer want their parents walking them up to the school gate, but I still want to be able to put my mind at rest and know they have arrived safely.

When you r crossing at the zebra crossing before or after school with your child sometimes the cars get sick of waiting and just go on

There is no dobt that we need a manned crossing here. It is the only crossing on the whole of the Greenhill Rd, and is used for primary school and secondary school pupils.
Please don't let us wait until something tragic happens.

It would be nice for the crossing to be manned again as I don't feel that it's safe currently, some drivers just don't go eat the children enough time to cross and edge forward or drive through when the kids are still on the crossing

Something absolutely needs to be done about this crossing. Myself and my 5 yr old son have nearly been knocked over twice on this crossing just this school year. Some of the drivers are terrible and the parking around there is atrocious.

School crossing patrol or add speed humps to calm traffic down, especially cars coming from Canterbury. Widen road around bend + provide better parking.
