It has been brought to my attention that the Utility board is in charge of the lagoons because Parks Dept won't take it.
Covid was just an excuse, apparently they've been looking for any reason to close them.
Our best bet is to let the mayor know (2 members of the UB are appointed by the mayor) that we will do everything we can to vote her out if they don't open.

I am confused...the last time I went to Walmart there were people much closer than 6 feet in the aisles so that is NOT social distancing. The last time I went to the lagoons , I was in a vehicle and there was someone on THE OTHER SIDE OF A POND! Now wouldn't that be consider social distancing? 6 inches apart at Walmart...a pond width apart at the lagoons...humm social distancing you say???

It's a nice Family spot and since Families are important, always it's refreshing to be together in the fresh outdoors. The Logoons are a wonderful place to be with the family Unit.

I think the lagoon should be reopened there is far more people not social distancing I town and I stores. Why must every last bit of our freedom and pastime activities be ripped from our hands and for what? They say because of freak clean up etc....well I for one have never went there and found it trashed Ann 92nd I always see Patel officers patrolling the area so they I turn could stop the littering and our trash pick up If necessary

We visit the lagoons often! Our son enjoyed fishing there and he passed away in 2013. We spread some of his ashes out there and like to visit often!
