Reinstate Peter Schubart as Music Director at St. Martin's

He is a necessity for our parish.

I played flute with the St. Martin’s choir under the amazing direction of Peter. His Christmas concerts were the most amazing part of the entire year. I still dream of such talent, passion, and true love of a church and community. Peter is part of the heart and soul of St. Martin’s. The church community needs him and loves him.

Growing up in the St. Martin's community I always enjoyed the wonderful organ playing of Mr. Schubart and the moving choirs he organized. He is a true asset to this community of the faithful and deserves to be reinstated!

I do not understand how this happened or why. Please tell me. It’s awful.

Missing Peter and the gifts he brings to our beautiful church with every note he plays. His dedication, kindness and amazing talent set SMT apart! We will continue to pray that we see him behind his organ again!

Singing in this choir with my family the last couple of years has been indescribably beautiful. There is truly something divine about the sound of music in this big old church, and in a time when more people than ever find themselves walking away, music is one thing that bring us back together I know that is certainly most true for me.

Please bring Peter Schubert back to St Martin's in Amityville.

Peter is the heart and soul of our liturgies. His talent and his dedication to our parish has always been outstanding. It’s difficult to believe he will not be with us this Christmas. Please reconsider this decision.

Peter has been an asset to St. Martins for as long as I can remember. I couldn’t agree more that he is a bigger part of SMT than the building is. We need him back! Can’t believe this happened at all.

Peter and his family have brought another level of joy to this Parish for as long as I can remember. Our girls sang in the children’s choir and are now grown and they cherish those early years under his direction. His expertise and humanity is greatly needed now more than ever. Please bring him back.

Reinstate Peter Schubert

During the darkest time in memorable history to terminate Perer’s ministry and his lovely family too is very sad. This is the time when we need the hope that is created with the aid of Peter Schubarts.

I have watched Peter since he was a small child sing in the choir under Siony Liebe. She nurtured his talent and he grew strong in his faith and devotion to St Martin of Tours. We have all been blessed by his music ministry.

Although i no longer live on Long Island I was a st martins parishioner for more than 50 yrs and I am so sad to. Hear this news. Music was always such an iimportant part of the parish. I cannot believe that a pastor would do this without consulting the parishioners. What a terrible loss!!!

Mr. Schubert has been a huge part of St. Martin of Tours for as long as I can remember. He is an asset to the church, school and choirs.
