Reinstate the Pass/Fail Option for the Fall Semester at the University Of Alabama

I do feel that covid has hurt my learning. If classes were in person I feel I would be doing way better comprehending the material and would be able to ask questions to the professor about a given problem

I feel that the pass/fail option is the best option for myself at this time. Between juggling school and managing my family and home life, the pass/fail option is the most beneficial.

We have never had these sort of circumstances for the way we are learning right now.

Classes are very different and some cannot acclimate.

I think the pass fail option is a much more fair option fo this fall given that almost everything I have done this semester has been online. I have always struggled with online learning since they started incorporating it into my high school my sophomore year. As a result of this I feel that my grades right now are not even close to a reflection of the type of student I am.

This is a serious issue we need to look into. With all the major changes to learning this semester we need a policy that benefits the students.

I think with this reinstated it will be really helpful to all of the students

Having no classes in person truly degrades the learning experience and I don’t believe it allows students to excel to their full potential

Online instruction hinders the opportunity to revive a full education. Many students and I struggle to succeed do to poor online instruction. This is why I believe the fall semester should be pass/fail

This is a very good petition. It has been a serious difficulty adapting and maintaining good health as we work through this tricky covid semester.
